The Simma Software XCP bootloader provides a target-specific and compact solution for reprogramming ECUs efficiently and securely. With nearly 25 years of experience in bootloader development, this complete flash updating solution utilizes XCP protocol commands such as “CONNECT,” “DOWNLOAD,” and “PROGRAM START” to execute the bootloading process. The bootloader package also includes a Windows console application, flashXCP, as the host PC-side application.
