CAN Support for Microchip’s PIC32 Family
January 16, 2012, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today that their family of CAN device drivers and all their high level CAN protocols, such as SAE J1939, ISO 15765, and CANopen, now support the Microchip PIC32 high performance MCU line. With a MIPS M4K core featuring 125 DMIPS of performance and deep CAN hardware FIFOs, the PIC32 family of devices make a powerful microcontroller for CAN enabled designs.
With this support of the PIC32, all of Simma Software’s protocol stacks, including SAE J1939, ISO 15765, ISO 14229, ISO 14230, and CANopen software packages can be seamlessly integrated into application firmware for these devices.
