J1939 Software Module for Diagnostic Messages
January 7, 2019, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today the release of a new addition to their J1939 suite of software products with a module for J1939 diagnostic messages. This addition to their J1939 list of products continues to cement Simma Software as one of the foremost experts in the embedded software industry for J1939 and other CAN related software solutions.
ssJ1939-DiagnosticManager is a supplemental software module that can be purchased and used in conjunction with Simma’s J1939 protocol stack that supports multiple CAN ports, ssJ1939- Multi. The DM module is an example J1939 application that can be used as a template for sending and receiving the various types of diagnostic messages.
The J1939 software offered by Simma Software has been out in the marketplace for nearly 15 years, and is used by automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers all over the globe.
