Renesas RX631 CAN Software Driver
September 2, 2019, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today the release of a high-performance CAN device driver for the Renesas RX631 microcontroller. The release of this CAN driver adds to the growing list of supported microcontrollers that are used in conjunction with the major CAN protocols including J1939, ISO 15765, UDS, CANopen, XCP, and NMEA 2000.
The RX family of 32-bit microcontrollers is equipped with the Renesas exclusive RXv1/RXv2 CPU core. These Renesas microcontrollers are highlighted by excellent operational performance combined with superior power efficiency. The RX600 series boasts an extensive product lineup and is the mainstream series in the RX family.
The CAN software for the RX631 marks the first production software module Simma Software has released into the market that supports a Renesas microcontroller.
