September 19th, 2024, Terre Haute, IN – Simma Software, Inc. announced today the release of a high-performance LIN bootloader for the Microchip DSPIC33C. The company has now developed and delivered over 100 flash bootloader projects to their global customer base supporting multiple interfaces including CAN (J1939 and UDS), LIN, Ethernet, RS232, USB and Bluetooth. The Simma designed bootloader comes with several optional custom design features including enhanced security (encryption and authentication), updateable bootloader, and host application adapter plus flashing protocol.
